Chilton County Arts Festival

The Annual Arts Festival is sponsored by the Chilton County Arts Council and the City of Clanton. It is a Free Indoor Event of Artists selling Fine Handcrafted Art: Wood, Fabric, Glass, Pottery, Jewelry, Gourds ,Paintings, & More  

Special Events

There are special events throughout the year at the Rose Gallery at the Chilton County Arts Council office at 703 2nd Av N, Clanton, Al 35045. Follow us on FB and our website. 

March Gourd Madness

The focus of the event is to keep the Traditional Arts alive and functioning in our community: Gourd Art, Fiber Art, Weaving, Carving, & More. There will be classes, demonstrations, raw gourds, suppliers, and finished Art Work. 

Art Classes

There are classes being held throughout the year. Maria Hosmer and Sue Anne Hoyt are the regular teachers. We are looking for artists who would want to teach a class.

ART CLASSES
After school Art Classes are back. We will meet Mondays at 3:30 pm. The cost is $40 per month for children over the age of 7. Class size is limited.

MARCH GOURD MADNESS
If you want to teach a class or demonstrate a traditional art form using gourds, fiber, weaving, carving and others, Please sign up for March Gourd Madness at the Clanton Performing Arts Center March 20 & 21, 2020. Information for teachers, vendors, and additional information:
